and I'm on a mission to help close the gap on healthcare disparities and advocate for increased diversity in those who provide care.

Diversity can’t be optional if good health is priority.

Diversity

As a healthcare professional with over  20 years of experience I have witnessed a surplus of opportunities for growth and change only for them to  be ignored or missed.

My goal today is purpose fueled and it includes driving sustainable change in healthcare organizations by advocating for health equity and a more diverse nursing workforce.

Change is the GOAL

BUT WHERE DO WE START?

There are a myriad of areas that need change within the healthcare system. But systemic improvement can only come by way of strategic solutions. With that in mind, the areas of my expertise and my history as a black woman in the industry lead me to educate, coach and consult in the following spaces:

CLIENT TESTIMONIAL

When my husband and I found out that we were having twins, we were both elated and surprised (well shocked!). I had a pretty good pregnancy with little complications. But...I was a nervous first time mom...nervous about everything. One of the things that I was most concerned about was, "How am I going to breastfeed twins?!" I know that there are tons of resources out there like videos and such, but I wanted a warmer experience with individualized attention.

I WANTED INSTRUCTION FROM SOMEONE THAT I TRUST.

That's when I reached out to Dr. Daihnia Dunkley. Dr. Dunkley came to our home and was our lactation support consultant. She educated, supported us with positioning techniques, and recommended additional resources that she felt will be helpful. After the boys arrived, she was kind enough to do a post-op visit to assure that we were doing okay. I highly recommended Dr. Dunkley for any new mom or veteran mommy! You can always learn something new. There's nothing like feeling supported in the journey to parenthood. Thank you so much for your help. Our boys are now 4 years old and doing well!
